Quittner's entertaining article profiles World Golf Tour, which he feels will be dramatically reducing work productivity across the US in the near future. While the online game is currently only available as a demo, that doesn't reduce its potency; Quittner is so convinced of World Golf Tour's addictive nature that he refuses to reveal its URL. Unlike most Internet gaming phenomena, World Golf Tour has pulled in more than just adolescents, due to its high resolution graphics, simple streaming structure that penetrates corporate firewalls, and capacity for team play. Quittner speaks with co-founder YuChiang Cheng, who says he designed the game to be "World of Warcraft for older sports guys."
